The Singareni Collieries Company Limited
(SCCL) is a Government coal mining company jointly owned by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India on a 51:49 equity basis.

The Singareni coal reserves stretch across 350 Km of the Pranahita – Godavari Valley of Andhra Pradesh with a proven geological reserves aggregating to whopping 8791 million tonnes. SCCL is currently operating 13 opencast and 42 underground mines in 4 districts of Andhra Pradesh with a manpower around 78,000.

Research Centre Imarat
Research Centre Imarat has been established in a sprawling campus of 2100 acres, in Hyderabad. Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabhudin Abdul Kalam is the founder Director of Research Centre Imarat (RCI). The former Prime Minister Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi laid the foundation stone of Research Centre Imarat on 3rd August 1985 and was inaugurated by the former President of India, His Excellency, Shri R. Venkataraman on 27th August 1988. The area has been named as ‘VIGNYANA KANCHA’.

Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL)
is a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Located in Defence Research Complex, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad, it is responsible for the development and manufacture of complex metals and materials required for modern warfare and weapon systems.

DMRL was set up in 1963 at Hyderabad. Since then, it has developed competence in the areas of "powder metallurgy based fabrication and development of alloys, armor and rocket motor steel, aerospace light alloys, and magnetic materials."

South Central Railway
It was created on 2 October 1966 as the ninth zone of Indian Railways. The six divisions of this railway have a total 5,752 route kilometers of track. Current General Manager of S.C. Railway is Mr. M. S. Jayant, an officer of IRTS. From the days of steam-hauled locomotives and wooden plank seats, South Central Railway has come a long way, modernizing its system with the state of the art high-powered Diesel and Electric Locomotives, high speed telescopic Passenger Coaches, and higher axle load wagons, higher capacity track in all important routes, LED based multiple aspect color light signaling with panel interlocking & solid state interlocking, and digital microwave and optic fibre cable communication system, ISDN exchanges etc.
